Napa Valley chefs were invited to compete for the titles, Critics’ Choice and People’s Choice Chefs of the Year. Chefs presented original mustard recipes to a panel of esteemed food journalists, who will judge the Mustard Recipe Competitions in a blind tasting session. When the doors opened to the public for The Awards at 7 pm, guests had the opportunity to taste the original recipes and vote for their favorite to select the “People’s Choice” Chef of the Year. The competition is by invitation.
