Napa Valley, CA ~ Mustard Magic launched the 15th annual Napa Valley Mustard Festival on Saturday evening, February 2 at the Culinary Institute of America. The three story building overflowed with art and entertainment; beautiful women with flowers in their hair dressed in art nouveau gowns; tableaux vivants including a life sized scene depicting Jessel Miller's Mustard Goddess, this year's official Festival artwork; food and wine; a silent auction, dinner in the teaching kitchen; a live auction hosted by Don Sanchez and Cheryl Jennings of ABC 7, who presented a tribute to the late Vincent and Mildred DeDominico of the Napa Valley Wine Train; and the Festival's Art Competition Exhibit.

The Competition's judges, Napa Valley artist Gordon Huether, Napa Valley Gallery Owner Ira Wolk, and Bay area Artists/Art Instructors Helen and Rodger Stanley, selected the winners, juried earlier in the month, before the doors opened to the public. Napa Valley artists made an excellent showing.
