Visual Art Competition Exhibit

During A Weekend of Fine Art, be sure to visit Kirkland Ranch Winery in Napa to see the Visual Art Competition Exhibit of juried entries. The winery will host a wine and hors d’oeuvre Artists' Reception for juried artists and the public on Sunday, February 8, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Kirkland Ranch Winery will host the Exhibit from February 3 through April 2. The Napa Valley Museum presents the Napa Artists Invitational Theme exhibit, Terra Infirma: Hope for a World in Crisis, through April 18, 2004. Sixty-three artists throughout Napa Valley were asked to create works about the challenging and sometimes, devastating issues that are currently impacting people all over the world. Artists very often find themselves in the role of shaping the way the world is perceived. Some of the artists in the exhibit include: Robilee Frederick, Gordon Huether, Richard Carter, Eleanor Coppola, Ira Yeager, Morgan Thomas, Clare Kirkconnell, Jim Cross, Nancy Willis, John Bonick, Lowell Downey, Ib Larsen, Miki Hsu Leavey, Lynne Tuft, Rob Keller, Brian Nash and Angela Tirrell.

A special program, Chocolate Delights for Valentine's Day, will be held on Saturday, February 7 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Admission is $4.50 and reservations are required: 707.944.0500
